SIMULATED PRACTICE: TRAIN HOW TO HANDLE COMPLEX SCHOOL SITUATIONS

​Some students struggle at school for various reasons. For some, the transition from being a child to becoming a teenager is difficult. Others are being bullied or maybe lack support from home? Research shows that students who feel misunderstood at school can fall out, while those who are seen and understood are offered support to feel 'Inside'.

How well do you understand students and their life worlds? Most of us need some practice. Here, you can get to know Kristine and Basim in 9A at Vildanden Secondary School and see what Karen and David, their Class Teachers, do to try to understand them. Is what the Teachers are doing 'Inside'? How would you handle the challenges that arise?
