UiO har, med USN som partner, fått midler til DIVA prosjektet som innebærer at lærerstudenter skal prøve ut VIVA-appen (Visual Vocal Application) på mobiltelefonen til å gjøre sikre video- og lydopptak av undervisningen sin mens de er i praksis. Appen kan også brukes i profesjonsutdanninger, kollegaveiledning og innsamling av data til masteroppgaver og forskning. DIVA-prosjektet blir dermed på listen over viktige tiltak for å bygge en solid bro mellom lærerutdanningen som foregår på studiestedet og lærerutdanningen som utspiller seg i praksisfeltet. Filmen viser i korte trekk hva prosjektet handler om og gir et innblikk i hvordan VIVA-appen virker:
USN har erfaring med å bruke video som veiledningsgrunnlag og er derfor godt forberedt for å være en partner i prosjektet. Vi ser frem til å utforske en ny digital ressurs og utvikle kunnskap om hvordan video kan brukes til å profesjonalisere lærerutdanningen.
DIVA prosjektet ledes av Torunn Aanesland Strømme fra UiO. Toril Aagaard er USNs kontaktperson og ansvarlig for implementeringen ved USN. VIVA-appen gjøres tilgjengelig for andre utdanningsinstitusjoner tidligst om et år.
